Risemberg was built around a simple belief: that the most sustainable bag is the one you keep using.

Every Cal·la is designed to outlive trends. The leather is full-grain, the kind that softens and deepens with the years instead of cracking and being replaced. The hardware is stainless steel with PVD coating, made to keep moving long after cheaper alternatives would have broken.

And the modular system means you don't replace the bag when you want a new look — you change the flap, and your Cal·la keeps going.

Every detail, chosen to last.

The leather is full-grain Spanish cow leather, sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group — the highest independent standard for environmentally responsible leather production.

The hardware is solid stainless steel with a PVD-coated finish, designed to resist scratches and oxidation. The kind of detail you stop thinking about because it simply keeps working.

The lining is soft natural cotton — no plastic, no synthetic backing, no shortcuts. Every layer of a Cal·la was chosen for a single reason: to make a bag that doesn't need replacing.

Sustainability is also about people.

The artisans in Ubrique who make our bags learned their craft from their parents, who learned it from theirs. They work in small ateliers — not factories — under fair conditions, at a pace that respects both the material and the hands shaping it.

We know them by name. We visit. We choose to make less so we can make it this way.

Because a bag made by someone who's rushed, underpaid, or overworked is not a bag we want to make. No matter what claims we could put on the label.

How to make yours last forever.

Leather is a living material. Treated well, it will look better in ten years than the day you bought it.

Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from direct sunlight and water. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally — never with heat. Once or twice a year, condition with a neutral leather balm.

That's it. No subscriptions, no special products, no fuss. Just the patience leather has always asked for.
